Biography
Electro Deluxe, a French group formed in the early 2000s, revolutionized the boundaries between jazz, funk, and electronic music. Their debut album Stardown (2007) marked the beginning of their journey, blending jazz and electronics in a unique way. Over the years, they evolved, incorporating soul, hip-hop, and R&B into their sound, with albums like Play (2010), Home (2013), and Circle (2016). Known for their captivating live performances, they gained international recognition and became ambassadors for French music. With their 2024 album NEXT, they continue to innovate and inspire the next generation of musicians.
Concert venue
The SpardaWelt Eventcenter is the venue for the presentation of the German Jazz Trophy by the Sparda-Bank Baden-Württemberg Foundation for Art and Culture. The award ceremony marks the start of the festival, after which the respective prizewinners play the opening concert and other selected international musicians take to the SpardaWelt stage in the following days. The free "Jazz for Kids" event for young jazz fans will also take place here.
