Marcus Miller
Marcus Miller is a highly influential musician with over 30 years in the industry. A two-time Grammy winner, he is known for his work as a bassist, composer, and producer across jazz, R&B, and soul. Miller has collaborated with artists like Bill Withers, Luther Vandross, Chaka Khan, and Miles Davis. His production of Davis’ album "Tutu" is considered a key moment in jazz. Miller has also composed scores for numerous films and TV shows, including "Boomerang" and "House Party." He hosts two weekly radio shows and performs worldwide, with over a dozen solo albums to his name. His recent works, including "Afrodeezia" and "Laid Black," continue to blend various musical genres.
Fusion ALP Trio
The Fusion ALP Trio is a jazz combo formed in 2023, known for its groove-oriented and versatile original compositions. Anton Kleespies (keys), Len Zelnitschek (bass), and Paul Suttner (drums) won the main concert prize at the 2024 national "Jugend jazzt" competition. They are members of the Bavarian State Youth Jazz Orchestra and are enrolled in pre-college and degree programs at the University of Music and Performing Arts.
