Biography

Kyle Eastwood, Clint Eastwoods son, is primarily a talented jazz bass player and composer for film music. He has released nine albums, including "Eastwood Symphonic," which focuses on the themes of Clints cult films. After starting in 1950s orchestral jazz, Kyle Eastwood constantly expanded his musical universe in the first decade of the new millennium. His albums are diverse and refined, ranging from electro-jazz to groovy jazz reminiscent of the seventies. After exploring different styles, he returns to a more direct and melodic jazz with "Songs from the Château." Leading a new quintet of British musicians, he emphasizes melodic and swinging music, simple in form and refined in expression. The albums "The View From Here," "Timepieces," and "In Transit" confirm this aesthetic direction, focusing on the joy of playing and group interactions. This period represents the culmination of a profound introspective movement into the very foundations of his musical calling.
